Minimum 6 months post-registration experience within Mental Health or Learning Disabilities Care Environment, evidence of continued professional development in the relevant field
This role is not suitable for newly qualified nurses or preceptorship nurses.
You will be working in the Male PICU

Priory Bristol Hospital B16 1EQ. The location is not easily accessible via public transport, with limited direct routes and infrequent services in the surrounding area. As a result, commuting by car or other private transport is likely to be the most practical and reliable option for reaching the site.
What you'll be doing
You will join the team on the Male PICU Ward. In this role, you will play a key part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care.

What you'll bring to the role
- Hold current professional registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), along with Mental Health
- A background in mental health, particularly within an PICU ward setting, would be highly desirable for this role. Candidates with this experience will bring valuable insight into managing complex and dynamic clinical environments, along with the ability to respond effectively to patients with higher acuity needs. This experience supports strong clinical decision-making, resilience, and a proactive approach to delivering safe, high-quality care in fast-paced settings.
