Job Description
- Design and structure standardized measurement workflows for polymer testing
- Develop and refine SOPs for thermal analysis, rheology and mechanical testing
- Support the generation and validation of material cards for simulation applications
- Evaluate measurement quality and define criteria for reproducibility and robustness
- Translate laboratory data into structured, comparable datasets
- Collaborate with internal and external laboratories to ensure methodological consistency
- Identify gaps in current testing standards and implement improvements
- Contribute to building scalable material knowledge systems that integrate data, evaluation and documentation
Qualifications
- Background in material science, polymer engineering or plastics technology
- Solid experience in material testing, ideally in thermal analysis (DSC, TGA, TMA), rheology or mechanical characterization
- Understanding of how material properties are used in polymer processing simulations
- Strong grasp of measurement processes and laboratory workflows
- Ability to structure and document procedures in a clear and reproducible way
- Experience in data evaluation and interpretation of material testing results
- Basic understanding of data science concepts and structured data handling is a plus
- Builder mindset with strong execution capability
- Ability to work independently and bring clarity to evolving structures
- Clear communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Language Skills: English

We are looking for a Material Intelligence & Testing Systems Builder to develop a scalable framework for generating high-quality material data for polymer processing simulations. You will structure testing processes, define laboratory standards, and translate measurement data into robust, simulation-ready material models. Working closely with technical teams, you will build repeatable systems that establish a future-oriented material intelligence infrastructure and define how material knowledge is structured, validated, and applied across the organization.
