As this position is part of the ITP, you will complete an 18-month international rotation program across different business units and locations. During this time, you will work on innovation and business projects while building the skills needed for your future role. After successfully completing the program, you will transition into a permanent position within NETZSCH.

Job Description

• Design and develop innovative pump systems and components (positive displacement pumps), focusing on performance, reliability and sustainability
• Conduct detailed engineering calculations
• Create and validate 3D models and technical drawings using CAD tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, sales, quality, ...) to ensure seamless integration of designs.
• Conduct prototype development, testing, and certification activities according to industry standards
• Optimize designs for cost efficiency, manufacturability and energy efficiency
• Management of projects
• Participate in global projects and communicate effectively with international stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Proficiency in CAD software
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, material selection, and manufacturing processes
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under time constraints
• Strong communication skills in English
• Project management skills (German language skills are an advantage)
• Willingness to travel internationally for project coordination and testing

Additional Information

We are looking for a hands-on Development Engineer to design, analyze, test, and industrialize new pump products and components. You will translate customer and market needs into robust engineering solutions, working closely with cross functional teams across design, testing, operations, and quality.
