 KEY RESPONSIBILTIES/ACCOUNTABILTIES 

  • Promote Lilly’s cardiometabolic health portfolio across the Geelong and Bellarine territories, including Drysdale, Ocean Grove, Anglesea, Torquay, Hamilton, Horsham and Warrnambool.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with key customers in primary care, including general practitioners (GPs).
  • Engage healthcare professionals through a range of channels, including face-to-face meetings, email, virtual calls and webinars, in alignment with company strategy.
  • Travel to regional areas to visit customers at least once every six weeks.
  • Maintain a consistently high level of customer satisfaction at all times.
  • Embrace technology and artificial intelligence to support the effective delivery of all responsibilities.
  • Develop detailed territory business plans, informed by territory analysis, to achieve objectives within the assigned geographic area.
  • Record and maintain accurate, professional and timely documentation of customer interactions.
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork and collaborate effectively with all Lilly colleagues.
  • Respond to customer requests in a timely and effective manner.
  • Promote a positive and professional image of Lilly across relevant disease state areas.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the disease area, products, competitors and market developments relevant to the portfolio.
  • Ensure all activities comply with legal and ethical standards, company policies and the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct.
  • Build knowledge quickly of current treatment guidelines that influence standards of care and support desired patient outcomes.

This role reports to the Regional Business Manager- Vic West.

• High level organizational skills – The ability to prioritize and deliver on customer requirements and complete all administration tasks within the required timeframes
• Learning agility - To be able to effectively deal with a wide variety of people and challenging situations and is comfortable with complexity, can examine problems carefully and deliver in first time situations.
• Emotional Intelligence – To be able to evaluate emotions of self and others in order to understand drivers of behaviour and build valued relationships, to remain optimistic and positive even in ambiguity or during a setback.
• Resilience – The demonstrated ability to be determined to achieve a goal, the ability to persevere during times of trial, ability to adapt to change and move forward after disappointments and setbacks
• Compliance – the ability to understand operating principles, procedures and practices and to operate within them at all times

 

Prior Knowledge or Experience:

• Prior experience and demonstrated skills in a sales or account management role is highly desirable
• Proven expertise in the diabetes therapy area is desirable
• Demonstrated ability to use technology effectively to meet administrative and compliance requirement
