Description
Responsibilities
- Define and execute infrastructure strategy for integration, test, and engineering environments
- Oversee architecture and lifecycle management for networks, compute, storage, cloud, and lab infrastructure
- Ensure high availability, scalability, reliability, and time-synchronized operations across test systems
- Lead and develop systems and network engineering teams while establishing technical standards and best practices
- Drive technical decision-making aligned with long-term operational, scalability, and reliability goals
- Manage infrastructure supporting test facilities, lab environments, structured cabling, and real-time data systems
- Coordinate test stand deployments, facility upgrades, and infrastructure readiness for integration and test activities
- Lead automation, infrastructure-as-code, and platform engineering initiatives to improve deployment consistency and operational efficiency
- Establish monitoring, observability, incident response, and root cause analysis practices to ensure operational excellence
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security, zero-trust architecture, regulatory requirements, and secure engineering data management while collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or related domains
- 2+ years of leadership or team management experience
- Experience leading technical teams supporting complex infrastructure environments
- Strong background in networking, systems, and platform engineering
- Experience designing and operating infrastructure in lab, test, or engineering environments
- Proven ability to deliver scalable, reliable infrastructure solutions
- Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred Skills and Experience
- 4+ years experience leading technical teams supporting complex infrastructure environments
- Aerospace, manufacturing, or test environment experience
- Experience with deterministic or time-sensitive systems
- Experience driving infrastructure automation and platform engineering initiatives
- Experience operating in regulated or compliance-driven environments
Operational Expectations
- Onsite leadership supporting lab and operational environments
- Accountability for infrastructure readiness during test campaigns
- Participation in critical incident response and major operational events
Additional Information:
Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
