2025-2026 Temporary School Health Registered Nurse for Summer Programs

Disclaimer: All dates of operation, modes of delivery, and program implementation are subject to change as per guidance from the SCDE and BCSD officials. This is a temporary position.

Location: Men Riv (June 15 - 18) Sangaree Middle (June 22 - 25)

Cainhoy (June 29 - July 2) St. Stephen Middle (July 13 - 16)

Hours run between 8:00 and 12:00 each day. *Daily schedule to be determined.


Job Requirements: A valid South Carolina License to practice as a Registered Nurse with a minimum of five years' experience as a RN; Must be certified or obtain certification in CPR and First Aid and must possess a valid South Carolina driver's license.

• Copy of valid SC Registered Nurse Licensure
• Negative TB test results under 1 year old. BCSD strongly encourages all applicants to upload their TB test results. If the applicant has not completed the test, he/she will be required to upload a word document acknowledging that the results will be uploaded as soon as the test is completed. Please Note: A delay in submitting TB test results will postpone the onboarding process. (If selected for a position) A new test is not required if currently a Berkeley County School District employee.
