About the Role
The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst (BA) who will join the Marketing Technology & Automations team. This role will be responsible for gathering business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, supporting implementation of marketing and sales automation projects, and performing first-level QA testing before deployment.
The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, excellent stakeholder management capabilities, and a good understanding of marketing automation, CRM systems, sales processes, and digital workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering
Work closely with Marketing, Sales, CRM, and Tech teams to understand business requirements and process challenges.
Gather, analyze, document, and validate functional and technical requirements for marketing and sales automation initiatives.
Create BRDs, user stories, workflows, process maps, and functional specifications.
Translate business requirements into clear implementation tasks for developers and technical teams.
Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend automation solutions.
Marketing & Sales Automation Support
Support projects related to:
Marketing automation workflows
Lead management and nurturing
CRM integrations (Marketing/ Sales)
Sales automation processes
Campaign tracking and reporting
Chatbots and AI-driven marketing tools
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure successful project execution.
Assist in UAT planning and deployment activities.
First-Level QA & Testing
Perform first-level QA testing for all marketing automation and sales automation developments.
Identify bugs, issues, and inconsistencies before release.
Document defects clearly and coordinate with developers for fixes.
Conduct regression testing after fixes and enhancements.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain detailed project documentation, process flows, test cases, and release notes.
Track project progress, risks, dependencies, and testing outcomes.
Prepare reports and updates for stakeholders and management.
Experience & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in Marketing Technology, CRM, or Automation projects.
Experience with Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, or similar platforms
Experience working with automation workflows, APIs, integrations, and digital processes.
Knowledge of QA/testing methodologies and defect tracking.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong documentation and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Understanding of lead lifecycle management and campaign operations.
Basic SQL or reporting knowledge is an advantage.
Experience with AI tools, chatbots, or integration platforms is a plus.
