YOUR ROLE

The mission of the Customs Operations Administrator is to ensure the preparation of all customs documentation (import and/or export), carry out tariff classification, and verify the compliance of the components of the declaration with customs and tax regulations in Morocco.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Prepare and follow up on customs files
  • Establish the provisional declaration in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Record transactions and update data in the information system
  • Submit customs documents to the Customs Administration
  • Attend inspections and controls carried out by the Customs Administration
  • Coordinate customs operations with clients and/or various site entities, as well as with the Customs and Tax Administration
  • Regularly share and communicate information with clients
  • Carry out administrative follow-up of customs files
  • Process and manage discrepancies
  • Handle and follow up on requests or complaints
  • File and archive documents
  • Manage and use documentation
  • Represent the group with clients and the network in the day-to-day management of files
  • Enter declarations into the BADR system
  • Monitor due payments (liquidations)
  • Prepare reservation letters
  • Conduct research and studies in customs matters
  • Comply with quality, safety, and hygiene standards in force within the company

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Minimum Bac +2 from a customs declarant school, in international trade, logistics, or a similar field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position, within the transport and logistics sector
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations in Morocco
  • Excellent organizational and administrative management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in handling files
  • Customer service mindset and ability to work in a team
  • Adaptability and flexibility in response to change
  • Proficiency in IT tools and customs management software
  • Fluency in French; English is an asset
