Back to jobsSupport daily labour deployment in line with approved labour plans and shift structures
Work closely with operations and shift managers to ensure labour is deployed accurately across functions
Identify gaps, surpluses and misalignment between plan and actual deployment
Support redeployment decisions in response to volume changes or operational priorities
Maintain planning tools, labour plans, headcount models and deployment trackers
Update planning data with actual hours, attendance and performance information
Produce daily and weekly labour and deployment reports
Track plan vs actual performance and clearly highlight variances
Support root‑cause analysis of labour or deployment inefficiencies
Act as the day‑to‑day planning interface with operational teams on shift
Attend operational briefings and performance discussions as required
Proactively identify risks relating to labour coverage, skill gaps or deployment accuracy
Support continuous improvement of planning processes, reporting and execution
Support the Planning Manager with any additional tasks as and when required
