Here is What Your day May Consist of:
- Effective communication with both clients & team
- Client education
- Safe handling & restraint of animals
- Obtain vitals & medical history
- Venipuncture Place intravenous catheters
- Administer medications PO, SQ, IM, & IV
- Administer & monitor anesthesia
- Surgical assistance Laboratory testing & radiography
Here is What You Will Bring to the Position:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in a veterinary setting
- Completion of an AVMA accredited Veterinary Technology program
- Current Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) license
