As we expand services in our new location, we are actively hiring two experienced Veterinary Technicians to join our growing Emergency & Critical Care team:
- One Daytime Technician
- One Overnight Technician

Daytime Technician:
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Overnight Technician:
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Rotating weekends and holidays required when supporting ER/Specialty
Key Responsibilities
- Provide urgent care and stabilization for critically ill or injured patients
- Perform triage, monitor vital signs, and assist with life-saving interventions
- Perform radiographs, bloodwork, urinalysis, and laboratory testing
- Assist with sample handling and timely result communication
- Continuously monitor patients during emergencies, procedures, and recovery
- Assist with anesthesia induction, intubation, and intra-operative monitoring
- Support emergency and routine surgical procedures
- Provide thorough post-operative and recovery care
- IV catheter placement and venipuncture
- Fluid therapy and medication administration
- CPR, stabilization, and trauma response
- Clearly and compassionately communicate treatment plans, updates, and aftercare instructions
- Serve as a trusted liaison between veterinarians and pet owners
- Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and assistants in a fast-paced ER setting
- Maintain accurate medical records in the EMR system
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of veterinary technician experience in a clinical or emergency care setting is required. Experience handling high-acuity cases and trauma care is highly valued.
- High School Diploma or GED required, must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Certification: CVT (Certified Veterinary Technician) certification is preferred, but not required. We welcome candidates with equivalent hands-on experience who are passionate about advancing their skills in veterinary medicine.
- Anesthesia & Surgical Support: Solid experience in assisting with anesthesia induction, intubation, and monitoring during surgeries is essential. Ability to assist in emergency surgeries is a must.
- Critical Care Competency: Experience with emergency procedures, including CPR, stabilization, and managing trauma patients, is highly desirable. You should be able to remain calm under pressure and think quickly in critical situations.
- Diagnostic Proficiency: Skilled in performing diagnostic procedures, including radiology, bloodwork, and laboratory testing. Strong attention to detail in interpreting and communicating results is critical.
- Communication & Client Service: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain medical procedures and treatment plans in a clear, compassionate, and professional manner to pet owners.
- Team-Oriented: Ability to work well in a collaborative, team-driven environment. You will need to be flexible, adaptable, and able to support the team wherever necessary.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving patients, standing for long periods, and responding quickly to emergencies.
