Students In Industry Based Certification

Note: This job posting is only for students in the Human Development CTE pathway at Hutto High School and is unpaid. 

Primary Purpose:

The Educational Aide supports teachers in the classroom while gaining hands-on experience in the field of education. This is designed specifically for Hutto High School students enrolled in the Human Development CTE pathway who are completing requirements for their educational aide certification. Students will assist with instructional activities, classroom organization, and elementary student support while developing foundational skills for future careers in education.

Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in the CTE Human Development pathway at Hutto High School 

Education/Certification:
High School Diploma

Special Knowledge/Skills:
Interest in working with children and pursuing a future career in education

Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work collaboratively with teachers and staff

Basic technology skills and the ability to follow directions in a classroom environment
