School Nurse

South Holland School District 151 is seeking qualified candidates for Certified School Nurse. The School Nurse must possess an RN License and hold an ISBE issued Professional Educator License (PEL) endorsed as school nurse. The School Nurse will provide nursing services, routine and emergency care, recordkeeping, 504 and Special Education related services, and screening for elementary school students at one or more of our schools. Will be responsible for any Medical Review submitted as part of the IEP process for evaulation or reevaluation or for creating or modifying nursing activities or student health related goals as part of the IEP and/or 504. Prior experience serving children or working in schools is strongly preferred. Spanish proficiency is a plus. Position is a 10 month per year position.
