Job Description
The Oshore Safety Performance Coach role is to promote, monitor, and improve safety culture
and practices during drilling operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and coaching for oshore personnel.
• Monitor daily safety practices and behaviours on the platform, providing guidance and
feedback.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and refinement of safety policies,
procedures, and best practices.
• Perform safety audits and inspections to identify hazards, unsafe behaviours, and
compliance issues.
• Investigate safety incidents, near-misses, and hazards, ensuring proper reporting and
follow-up.
• Promote a safety culture by engaging personnel at all levels, encouraging proactive
safety practices.
• Support the onboarding and orientation of new personnel with safety induction and
awareness.
• Lead safety meetings and promote active participation in safety initiatives.
• Provide coaching to improve safety performance and foster safe working habits.
• Collaborate with management and operational teams to develop safety improvement
plans.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Minimum 8 years related experience in oshore drilling operations HSE
• Have certificate, diploma or degree in related field
• Have relevant safety oicer and training certifications i.e from DOSH/NIOSH
• Strong knowledge of oshore safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Fit for oshore work
