Senior Strategy & Transformation Officer | Open Bank, S.A., Netherlands Branch

Your role and the team   
As a Senior Support the Strategy & Transformation team in executing strategic initiatives, assisting with business transformation projects, and contributing to initiatives aimed at improving organizational performance, realization of commercial growth initiatives, efficiency, and long-term growth. 

You will be working on a team of 5 people including this position and the manager. Working hand in hand with the Board of Directors, the team is responsible for the correct execution and transformation roadmap of the unit in all different areas and disciplines.

Your duties and responsibilities in short 

• Assist in the execution of strategic and transformation initiatives aligned with the organization’s goals and priorities. 

• Be the project manager (and sometimes lead) through the full cycle of strategic project initiatives: from scoping to project termination. 

• Support business analysis activities, including data collection, market research, and preparation of presentations and reports. 

• Help track progress of strategic projects and transformation programs, ensuring timelines and milestones are met. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support process improvement, change management, and operational efficiency initiatives. 

• Assist in developing business cases, performance dashboards, and management reports. 

• Lead stakeholder coordination and communication related to strategy and transformation initiatives. 

• Assist in identifying improvement opportunities through analysis of business performance, customer insights, and operational data. 

• Ensure documentation of strategies, transformation roadmaps, process mapping and project outcomes is maintained accurately. 

• Support governance, compliance, and risk management requirements related to strategic initiatives. 

• Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices in strategy, transformation, and innovation. 

• Maintain organizational helicopter view and link dependencies and coherence across projects and initiatives. 

• Support the other members of the team on ad-hoc basis. 

You have  

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferably Business Administration, Economics, Management, Business Analytics 

• Experience on a consulting role or strategic project management for 3-5 years 

• Experience on Operational Lease or Consumer Finance fields are a plus 

• Official project management qualifications (e.g. Agile, Prince 2) are a plus 

• Good knowledge of English (Dutch is a plus), both verbally and in writing 

• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and  data analysis tools.
