With license to see things through your way, and the option to split your time between office and home, RACV is where you’ll make a difference.
About the opportunity
At RACV, we’re investing in Artificial Intelligence to transform how we deliver value to our members - and this role is at the heart of making that impact measurable.
As the AI Performance & Commercial Lead, you will be working across multiple transformation projects and will play a critical role in ensuring our AI initiatives deliver tangible business outcomes. Working within our centralised Transformation team, you’ll partner with AI, finance, and business teams to track performance, quantify value, and inform key investment decisions.
You’ll bring visibility to the success of our AI portfolio - translating complex program outcomes into clear commercial insights for senior leaders and the AI Steering Committee. From building robust benefits frameworks to shaping business cases for new opportunities, this role will directly influence how RACV prioritises and scales AI across the organisation.
This is a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of strategy, commercial decision-making, and AI innovation, helping ensure we deliver meaningful value for our members and our business.
Key responsibilities include
-
Lead value measurement and benefits realisation across AI initiatives, ensuring outcomes are clearly defined, tracked, and aligned to business impact
-
Develop and embed performance frameworks and reporting, providing clear visibility of AI initiative progress, outcomes, and ROI
-
Support business case development and commercial modelling, assessing value drivers, investment requirements, and expected returns for new AI opportunities
-
Provide portfolio-level insights and recommendations to support prioritisation, funding, and strategic decision-making
-
Prepare and deliver executive-level reporting, including materials for the AI Steering Committee and senior leadership forums
-
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across business, technology, finance, and PMO to align on performance measures and value delivery
-
Evaluate and prioritise AI use cases, ensuring focus on initiatives that deliver the greatest commercial and member value
-
Monitor risks and support governance processes, enabling informed decision-making and proactive issue management
-
Drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across the AI program
What you'll need to be successful
-
Proven experience in commercial, strategy, finance, or analytics roles, within large transformation or digital programs
-
Strong ability to translate performance data into clear financial and business value
-
Demonstrated experience in identifying and developing use cases, providing business insights, investment models, or benefits realisation frameworks
-
Well-developed commercial acumen, with the ability to support prioritisation and investment decisions
-
Experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders and executive audiences
-
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across technology, data, and business teams
-
High level of analytical thinking and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes
-
A proactive, strategic mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and driving impact
