DESCRIPTION: The Assistant Business System Analyst

will be responsible for maintaining and controlling

the daily functions for the computer center

operations. The position works closely, as a

backup, to the Business Analyst. The

Assistant Business System Analyst

will support the business

functions of the school district including report

development, user training, and daily/monthly

operations.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to understand computing concepts and data relationships.

Programming and database experience a plus.

Detail oriented with good analytical skills.

Windows PC and Microsoft Office knowledge.

Microsoft SQL Server and Crystal Reports knowledge desired.

 

 

EMPLOYMENT: 40 hrs/week 12-month per year position

 

 

LOCATION: Data Center

District Offices Building

SALARY: $22.74/hr starting salary

POSITION: Assistant Business System Analyst

 

RESPONSIBILITY: The Assistant Business System Analyst

will be responsible for maintaining and controlling the daily functions of the computer center as they relate to operations; functions include, but are not limited to; report printing and distribution, troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise for our staff. He/she will also provide programming support to Data Center customers. He/she will be directly responsible to the Data Center Supervisor.

 

TERMS: The work year for this position shall be twelve months and benefits cited in the current school district policies for non-certified personnel.

 

DUTIES: 

 

1. Assist Business Systems Analyst in maintaining all programs, documentation and user manuals for business systems users. Write and update programs/reports to satisfy requirements of our customers.

 

2. Coordinate with the Business Office and Human Resources to ensure that all periodic reports and procedures required by School District policy or by law are processed in a timely manner. He/She will create reports, identify and resolve issues as they relate to our Business system with guidance from the Business Systems Analyst.

 

  1. Prints Accounts Payable checks, Time Cards, Bulk Mailing envelopes.

 

  1. Provide technical and programming assistance to end users on computing used at the school district. 

 

  1. Will run monthly processes for reporting business related activity including phone usage reporting and other monthly reporting requirements.

 

  1. Must be able to move boxes of paper (30-40lbs).

 

  1. Perform other duties as required by the Data Center Supervisor.
