Research Specialist, Steward Observatory

Assists under guidance in the fabrication of CCD and CMOS sensors utilizing flip-chip bonders, dispensing equipment, dicing saw, wire bonders, or stud bumping machines. Receives direction and guidance for wet-etching silicon using mechanical equipment. Provides assistance in the coordination of projects using technical and scientific expertise. With direction, basic programming and maintaining of laboratory equipment. Prepares supporting documents such as technical reports, procedures, and work instructions.
