Lead and coordinate project work with other engineers, procurement and manufacturing.
Lead and oversee auditing on regulatory compliance for federal, state, and local laws including air, water, soil, and waste
Provide technical guidance and oversight to production facilities, corporate departments, trade groups, or the public
Lead, participate in, and provide technical support for environmental, health, and safety evaluations, investigations, audits, and remediation
Oversee and audit the environmental management of hazardous materials
Lead and/or support company initiatives and programs such as recycling, greenhouse gas inventories, and waste and resource minimization
Provide product regulatory expertise to groups developing new products and processes to ensure sustainability and compliance requirements are evaluated and included in design.
Troubleshoot, analyze, identify, evaluate, propose, implement, and document engineering and regulatory solutions to environmental issues
Collaborate with production personnel and other departments to gather information and draft reports for improvement of equipment, processes, and products
Create test parameters and participate in the testing and implementation of engineering solutions
Establish continuous improvement plans in the areas of efficiency, quality, safety, or service can be improved
Mentor other engineers
