To strengthen our Service team – Measurement division in France, we are looking for a Field Service Engineer based in the North-East of France.

You will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-level technical support.

By joining the Measurement team, your responsibilities will be aligned with Anton Paar’s standard procedures and will include, in particular:

• Provide technical support to customers (phone, email)
• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on-site or in the workshop
• Diagnose faulty instruments and prepare repair quotations
• Plan and carry out preventive maintenance in compliance with established standards
• Perform factory calibrations (ISO 17025 if required)
• Record and update service activities and reports in the CRM system
• Ensure availability and compliance of service tools and instruments
• Collaborate with internal teams (application support, product management, sales, marketing, administration)
• Manage service stock / personal spare parts inventory
• Identify and communicate instrument replacement opportunities to the sales team
• Participate in technical training on Anton Paar product lines
• Provide telephone support according to the internal schedule
• Occasionally cover for other field service engineers in France

Qualifications

• Minimum two-year higher education degree (Bac+2 or equivalent)
• At least 3 years of experience in customer support or technical repair
• Experience in direct customer interaction
• Excellent technical troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently, with a structured and organized approach
• Strong customer service orientation
• Fluent in English
• Valid Category B driver’s license
• Must be based in the North-East region of France

You will use the following tools on a daily basis:

• SAP ERP & SAP CRM
• Lotus Notes
• Microsoft Outlook
