Define and implement the operating model, including governance, decision rights, roles/RACI, forums, intake/prioritization, and establish a reporting function with KPIs, dashboards, and performance routines.
Design, standardize, and deliver new workflows by partnering with business and technical teams; translate requirements into scalable processes and enable them in Collibra or other data management platforms.
Lead execution on the business side of the team by managing roadmap planning, cross-functional coordination, dependency management, and executive updates; leverage prior experience running enterprise governance functions and use SQL-based analysis to support insights and decisions.
Design, implement, and continuously improve enterprise-wide data and AI governance strategy, frameworks, and policies; embed stewardship models, standards, and operating routines into day-to-day operations.
Provide AI ethics, privacy, and regulatory oversight by leading privacy risk assessments, governance reviews, and audit readiness for compliance with PIPEDA, Law 25, and GDPR.
Act as a strategic advisor and cross-functional leader—partnering with IT, Security, Legal, Product, and Engineering—to drive enterprise adoption, run governance forums/working groups, and enable change through communications, training, and awareness programs.
Establish governance metrics and reporting by defining KPIs, maturity scoring, and regulatory posture reporting; manage escalation and resolution of data quality, privacy, and governance issues to closure.
