Safety Manager / Construction (HSE) Health, Safety and Environmental Manager

In this role you will provide safety support at the project site, oversee Contractor activities You will provide effective leadership to a team of Safety Techs and plan their activities to support the project team’s goal to maintain a zero – zero safety performance You will oversee Work Permits on a daily basis, identify improvement opportunities and initiate necessary actions Further you will perform accident investigations including Root Cause Analyses of injuries, illnesses, and key incidents Perform corrective actions following citations or safety incidents to remain within compliance of occupational and health regulations You will be in charge to monitor contractors' safety programs, perform periodic HSE audits You will also lead sample safety inspections everyday, identify good practices and improvement opportunities. Report findings to site management and follow up at the same time to ensure timely conformance You will help develop and implement local safety training and campaigns to maintain a positive safety culture You should be able to implement and lead a strong Safety Observation program You should be willing to work majority of the working time in the field performing HSE inspections, observations, and help correct UA UCs.
