Logistics Regional Trailer Manager

Primary Position Purpose: This role utilizes our trailer network to provide a seamless offering to our customers by maintaining trailer pools. The role also collaborates with planning to make the most cost-effective decisions on what trailers to pull and where to return them. In doing so, we maintain balance and always have an available a trailer for our drivers and our customers. Position Functions: · Analyze trailer networks · Using McLeod, update and communicate trailer locations and return destinations · Collaborate with repositions team opportunities and need · Collaborate with account management on new awards and exiting business · Manage the fulfillment of trailers needed for new business · Work with operations to drive data integrity · Manage logistics Power only pools · Collaborate in-person with all levels of the organization to harness collective intelligence of the workforce. · Attend all in-person meetings and trainings on recent developments, goals, and objectives. Participate in such discussions by offering input and advice. · Regularly engage remotely and in-person with customers and potential customers to establish rapport, open communication, and expectations.
