NIH/National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), IT Infrastructure Program. NIEHS requires support for
proactive and effective project management, efficient administration of the Data Center, successful operations and
maintenance of servers, applications and networks, and prompt and efficient service desk support.
The Network Services Lead is responsible for managing and supporting the NIEHS’s critical network environment, ensuring robust and secure connectivity across multiple locations. This role involves overseeing the installation, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of WANs and LANs, as well as managing network operations, security, and performance. The Network Services Lead will coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve network issues, support unified communications, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network management, proven experience in production support, and a deep understanding of network security protocols and best practices.
