Computer Technician (Mid-Level)

Job Summary : SEACORP is seeking a motivated Mid-Level Computer Technician to join our Information Technology Technical Support team in Middletown, RI. In this role, you will provide critical technical assistance and maintenance for hardware and software systems supporting our mission-critical defense projects. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and security of our technical infrastructure while maintaining a strong posture in line with Department of Defense (DoD) standards. Job Responsibilities Include: System Maintenance: Install, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, peripherals, and software for both local and remote users. Technical Support: Resolve hardware/software issues including operating systems, electronic mail, and printing. Information Security: Support and maintain user accounts, access rights, and security groups to protect sensitive data. Asset Management: Document and track hardware upgrades and replacements; maintain accurate system logs and equipment inventory. Endpoint Management Security: Deploy Microsoft Intune for device compliance, configuration profiles, BitLocker encryption (FIPS 140-2), and application deployment. Compliance Support: Assist in maintaining system compliance with emerging cybersecurity standards like CMMC. Documentation: Maintaining detailed technical documentation, inventory systems, and knowledge bases.
