Job Summary : The ILS Manager coordinates the lifecycle sustainment and operational supportability of maritime navigation and sensor systems. This role ensures that critical equipment, including AN/WSN-7, AN/WSN-12, and non-inertial sensors, remains mission-ready through comprehensive logistics planning. The Manager oversees the development of support packages—including spares provisioning, technical manuals, and maintenance strategies—to maximize fleet availability and minimize long-term ownership costs. Responsibilities: Supportability Planning: Develop and execute Integrated Product Support (IPS) strategies for naval navigation, timing, and sensor suites. TDP Documentation: Lead the creation and validation of Technical Data Packages (TDPs) and Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD). Obsolescence Management: Direct Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) programs to identify and mitigate risks for legacy hardware. Maintenance Engineering: Coordinate Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) and Reliability, Maintainability and Availability, (RM A) assessments to define organic and depot-level support requirements. Technical Manuals Training: Oversee the drafting, editing, and delivery of technical manuals, training curricula, and Planned Maintenance System (PMS) documentation. Supply Chain Oversight: Manage the spares provisioning process, including initial outfitting and the sustainment of rotatable pools for critical components.
