Job Description
Job Summary : SEACORP is seeking Test and Evaluation (T E) Technicians at various levels to support the verification and validation of U.S. Navy navigation equipment. The Technician is responsible for maintaining specialized test equipment, conducting tests in strict accordance with approved test plans, and meticulously documenting all results. This role involves identifying system anomalies, generating Software/System Trouble Reports (STRs), and contributing to final test reports to ensure the operational readiness of critical naval systems. Job Responsibilities Include: Test Execution Equipment Maintenance: Conduct formal testing of navigation systems and components in accordance with (IAW) approved test plans and procedures. Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot test equipment, including data loggers, signal generators, and specialized maritime simulation tools. Set up test configurations, ensuring hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and environmental test setups are secure and functional. Monitor system performance during testing cycles and identify deviations from expected behavior. Documentation Reporting: Document all test results with high precision to ensure data integrity for final analysis. Identify system failures and generate Software/System Trouble Reports (STRs) with detailed steps to reproduce the issue. Assist engineering staff in the compilation of data for formal Test Reports (TR). Maintain organized logs of equipment maintenance and laboratory configurations.
