Job Description
Position requires preparation of lecture and laboratory presentations, curriculum review, and the practical instruction of laboratory skills in accordance with NAACLS standards. Subjects may include Phlebotomy, Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Clinical Microbiology, Blood Bank/Serology, Molecular, Urinalysis/Body Fluids, Intro to MLT, Professional Development, Problem solving, Quality control, Lab Math. Evaluation of practical laboratory skill performance. Serves as a liaison between College and community health care facilities. Serves on the Medical Laboratory Advisory Committee at the College. Provides input for needs assessment, continued development, accreditation, and outcomes assessment for all Medical Laboratory programs. Prepares and delivers learning activities in order to achieve course outcomes Prepares course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments and handouts Evaluates and grades students’ class work, laboratory work, assignments, papers, and examinations Maintains and submits student attendance records, grades and other required documentation by specified deadlines Be available to students for coaching Periodic meetings with supervisors, division, or College, relative to teaching duties and training and development
