Job Description

Description: Roseville Area Schools has a vacancy for a MARSS/SPED secretary (office support, clerical class C) and general education paraprofessional at Falcon Heights Elementary School. This position spends 6.5 hours/day performing clerical responsibilities including reception duties, answering phones and walkies, and general office support; assisting the Special Education team in scheduling meetings and keeping a calendar, completing due process paper work and maintaining special education records; and general upkeep of student records and completing student record requests. An additional 1.5 hours/day is spent supervising students during lunch/recess. 

In total, this position is 8 hours per day, 7:45 a.m. - 4:15 p.m., following a 180-day calendar for the clerical portion and a 169-day calendar for the paraprofessional hours. This position starts September 1, 2026.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in office administrative support;
  • Strong skills in organization and record keeping;
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing work requests;
  • Strong communication and customer service skills;
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Drive applications, SPED Forms, Synergy preferred
  • High school diploma required, college degree preferred; and
  • Some clerical experience preferred.
     

Compensation: Starting salary range for the MARSS/SPED secretary position is $16.71 - $18.94 per hour. Starting salary range for the paraprofessional position is $17.82-$20.11 per hour. The employee will also receive a district contribution towards health and dental insurance.
