Long-Term Substitute - Kindergarten Teacher

Beginning Mid-September for 12 weeks.

$266/day

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Professional Educator License registered with ROE 53 - Elementary Education Endorsement
-Ability to successfully complete a preemployment functional physical, fingerprint based background check, and Employment History Review
-Supervisory experience preferred

JOB GOAL: The Long-Term Substitute Kindergarten Teacher will maintain educational continuity during an extended teacher absence. 

JOB DUTIES:

• Develops and/or implements engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with state standards.
• Establishes a safe, organized, and positive learning environment using age-appropriate behavior management strategies.
• Monitors and evaluates student progress through formal and informal assessments.
• Differentiates instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including those with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Maintains consistent communication with families regarding academic and behavioral progress.
• Collaborates with grade-level teams and support staff to ensure a cohesive student experience.
• Maintains accurate attendance and performance records.
• Participates in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions.
