Puyallup Online Academy is seeking a highly motivated and flexible educator to serve in a 0.2 Math/Science teaching position supporting students within a virtual learning environment. Puyallup Online Academy provides students and families with flexible online educational opportunities while maintaining strong instructional support, relationship centered practices, and high academic expectations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a digital environment, communicating consistently with students and families, and supporting students through individualized instructional practices. 

Position Details

• Position: 0.2 Math/Science Teacher
• Location: Puyallup Online Academy

• Learning Model: Primarily virtual instruction 

   

Key Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in Math and Science coursework
• Support students through online learning platforms
• Monitor student engagement and academic progress
• Communicate regularly with students and families
• Collaborate with staff to support intervention efforts
• Utilize flexible instructional strategies to support student success 

Preferred Qualifications

• Math and/or Science endorsement preferred
• Experience with virtual or online learning environments
• Strong technology integration skills
• Excellent communication and organization skills
