Job Description

Primary Purpose:

Provide clerical, organizational, and logistical support to the Curriculum & Instruction department to ensure the efficient development, distribution, and maintenance of instructional materials, curriculum documents, and assessment resources.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associate's degree preferred 

 

Experience:

  • 1�3 years of clerical or administrative support experience
  • Experience in an educational setting preferred 

 

Special Knowledge/Skills:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality 

 

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

Clerical & Administrative Support

  • Provide general clerical support to the Curriculum & Instruction department
  • Manage phone calls, emails, and front-facing communication
  • Maintain department calendars, schedules, and meeting logistics
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations 

 

Curriculum & Instruction Support

  • Assist with organizing and maintaining curriculum documents and instructional resources
  • Support the distribution of curriculum materials to campuses
  • Maintain digital curriculum repositories (Google Drive, district platforms, etc.)
  • Assist with textbook and instructional material inventory and tracking 

 

Assessment & Program Support

  • Support coordination of district assessments (printing, organizing, distributing materials)
  • Assist with data entry and tracking for instructional programs
  • Maintain records related to curriculum adoptions and updates 

Event & Training Coordination

  • Assist in planning and coordinating professional development sessions
  • Prepare training materials and sign-in documentation
  • Coordinate meeting logistics (space, materials, communication)

 

Compliance & Records Management

  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with district policies
  • Assist with documentation required for audits, TEA, or district reviews
  • Ensure proper filing and retention of curriculum-related documents 

 

Other

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Curriculum & Instruction 

 

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment
  • Frequent interruptions
  • Occasional extended hours during peak times (beginning of year, testing windows, curriculum rollouts) 

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None

*Salary is commensurate with experience

*Works 226 Day Calendar
*Minimum Salary $26,813
* Please note that this role requires in-person attendance and is not eligible for remote work.
