Hours: 7:15 am - 11:45 am (hours may vary depending on assignment/site)
ESY in for K-5 Inclusion: E.S. Essential Skills & E.S. SCOPE: E.S. Self Contained Resource Room

ESY Pre-K:

**ESY Autism and CBL Programs:

** Middle School Hour/High School Hours 7:15AM-1:15 PM (hours may vary depending on assignment/site)
Mandatory professional learning will be held on July 2 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. A Google Meet link will be sent out at a later date
Reports to: EAS or ESY Site Administrator
Job Description:
- Develop lessons based on IEP goals and objectives to meet the individual needs of students.
- Provides direct instruction using a variety of techniques.
- Communicates with the school team, parents, guardians and outside agencies as necessary, regarding student progress.
- Ensures modification and accommodations are implemented throughout the day.
- Manages student behavior; follows behavior plans, implements behavior contracts, sets up classroom behavior plans.
- Use district approved tools to design small group instruction.
- Provide differentiated instruction based on identified student needs.
- Maintain student attendance and progress data.
- Complete ESY progress reports at the end of the program, uploaded on CT-SEDS and provided to Parents/Guardians/Surrogates.
- Use technologies as appropriate to the learning needs of the student.
- Able to effectively use Google Classroom, Kami, and navigate Atlas curriculum sites.
- Other duties assigned by the summer school administrator
- Preferred candidates will be considered for employment
Certification:
Applicants must have appropriate special education certification for position seeking.
Salary: Per WTA Contract
Maximum hours are stated above.
