High School Registrar
Morrison High School is seeking a student-centered, organized, and collaborative individual to serve as High School Registrar. The Registrar plays an important role in supporting students, families, counselors, and staff while helping ensure accurate student records and successful academic planning. The high school registrar works from the start of August through the second week of June.
Responsibilities Include:
- Manage and maintain student records, transcripts, and academic files
- Assist with student scheduling and course registration
- Support the school counseling program and counseling office operations
- Coordinate and organize local scholarship information and applications
- Communicate with students and families regarding academic records and graduation requirements
- Serve as liaison with dual credit and career programs, including Sauk Valley Community College and Morrison Institute of Technology
- Assist with enrollment, withdrawals, and transfer records
- Collaborate with administrators, teachers, counselors, and support staff to meet student needs
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy in student records
- Experience working in a school setting preferred
- Proficiency with student information systems and office technology
- Positive interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with students, families, and staff
