Job Description
This posting is for a full-time Achievement Liaison Teacher (ALT) for David E. Robinson Elementary School for the 2026-27 School Year.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of five years of successful experience as a classroom teacher.
- Elementary Teacher certification required
- Educational Leadership Certification or Reading Specialist certification preferred, but not required.
- Experience leading professional development, mentoring, and participating in school leadership opportunities preferred.
OVERVIEW: To provide support in developing and sustaining high levels of student achievement, teacher quality, and parent engagement opportunities to foster a positive school learning environment for all students, teachers and parents.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilize data analysis to improve instruction, student achievement, and school climate.
- Assist in the design and implementation of intervention programs.
- Support for teachers across content areas (curriculum, instruction, and classroom environment).
- Facilitate parent involvement / family engagement activities.
- Collaborate with the Administrative team to design professional development sessions.
- Serve as a resource person to assist in supporting district initiatives as it pertains to DER.
- Support DPAS II Expectations and Individual Improvement Plans as needed by Principal.
- Collaborate with other building ALT's and to ensure vertical articulation of best practices.
- Support SEL initiatives and MTSS to meet the needs of staff and students.
- Perform such other assignments and accept such other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Principal.
SALARY: In accordance with the State of Delaware and local salary schedules, based on experience and degree. Benefits package included.

- All persons employed by the Caesar Rodney School District are required to submit a criminal background check and a tuberculosis test.
