- Implement and adhere to all safety protocols and preventative safety measures
- Oversee the development of Quality Assurance personnel.
- Evaluate process capabilities via product and process variable statistical analyses
- Establish quality control and inspection plans for all processes
- Determine appropriate inspection techniques for product validation (gaging, NDT, etc.)
- Run Gage R&R and assure appropriateness for intended inspection
- Use advanced quality planning tools, including PFMEA, DOE, APQP, etc.
- Lead continuous improvement project using Lean methodologies
- Communicate effectively and present to customers in a professional and compelling manner
- Champion overall Quality Management Systems for the business
- Technical degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment (3-5 in Quality supervision/management)
- Application of statistics and computer knowledge (Minitab preferred)
- Hands-on Quality experience with automotive supplier (Tier 1 preferred) or other high-volume parts manufacturer
- Ability to train and coach department personnel and others in Quality methods and tools
- Strong problem solving and project management skills
- Can travel up to 15%
- Six Sigma certification is a plus
- GD&T knowledge preferred
