Instructional Assistant - Community Preschool (Multiple locations) - 26/27 SY

Job Description: Instructing and providing care for 3 - 5 year olds (not yet in Kindergarten). Position would include maintaining a safe and fun environment, assisting the Program Coordinator in lesson planning, communicating with parents and families in the absence of the Program Coordinator, acting as a lead for other program staff, and building a close relationship with the school staff.

Job Qualifications: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED). A Child Development Associates certificate (CDA) or equivalent is preferred. 

Job Requirements: 1 year experience working either in a school or working with children or any combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job and meet the AZ Department of Health Services Director Qualified requirements. Valid IVP Level One AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card required.

Employment Information: 26/27 School Year; 40 hours per week; 196 days 

Salary: Support Band A 12 - $17.75/hour entry level
