Position overview
This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth and reliable flow of materials that support our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for planning raw materials, reagents, and packaging to meet production demands, helping ensure we consistently deliver high-quality finished goods to our customers.
In this position, you will maintain and continuously optimize stocking policies and target inventory levels in alignment with business needs and service commitments. You will also collaborate closely with suppliers to ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, equipment, labeling, and marking requirements.
As part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will proactively adapt supply strategies to meet evolving manufacturing and procurement needs, demonstrating ownership, agility, and a solution-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities
- To ensure completion of transactional process of material requirements through the MRP process (manual & automatic) for all raw materials consumed at the corresponding site(s) as well as all resale items , through materials call-off and purchase order confirmation.
- Align purchase orders with the assignment of vendors and split rules as defined and communicated by procurement annually and as updated monthly to meet supplier allocations.
- Utilization of the SCAR system to document any discrepancy from agreed delivery terms.
- Consult with responsible procurement lead when a defined contract or purchase agreement cannot be met to identify an alternative supplier.
- Enlist the assistance of responsible procurement lead in an emergency situation to facilitate the expediting of supply while tracking and documenting the root cause for deviation from standard supply agreement.
- To be the first point of contact for supplier for specific issues in terms of deviation in standard delivery terms, lead times, specifications, packaging, etc. responsible procurement and production/engineering leads authorities to deviate from standard.
- To minimize impact of to working capital for purchase materials by review of slow movers, lead-time, standard order quantities and stocking policy. By maintaining ERP system parameters for material and packaging items aligning with historical usage and future forecast, as communicated by sales, and vendor as communicated by procurement lead.
- Respond and follow up any goods receipts discrepancies–Accounts Payable to ensure accuracy and timely vendor payment process.
Required skills and experience
- 3 years of planning/manufacturing experience.
- Must be proficient in ERP material management module, materials planning, inventory management, forecasting and data analysis – SAP MM/PP/LE experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong and effective communicator, both written and orally, collaborating both with operations and management on a frequent basis; exercises good judgment in resolving conflicts and addressing customer and internal requests.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
