ANNOUNCEMENT OF VACANCY

GREAT START READINESS PROGRAM

GRANT FUNDED

2026 - 2027 SCHOOL YEAR

POSITION:

Associate Teacher - Crowley 

  • 1 Position 

And any positions that result from the filling of this posting

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Previous experience in Early Childhood Program preferred
  • Must be a high school graduate or equivalent
  • Associate Degree in Child Development and/or CDA already obtained � Preferred
  • Completion of Early Childhood Development college course hours (at least 3) for compliance plan
  • Must meet State and Federal Legal Requirements
  • Must be punctual and maintain good attendance

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education and/or Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable

DUTIES:

 

 

  • Assist teacher with assessments, lesson planning, and participate in a classroom of 3-5 year old children
  • Assist Lead Teacher with small and large groups of children
  • Participate in home visits and parent-teacher conferences
  • Maintain strict child, family, and staff confidentially

Other duties as assigned

RESPONSIBLE TO:The Crowley Center Director
WORK SCHEDULE:GSRP School Calendar
SALARY:According to AFSCME, Local 849 Master Agreement, GSRP Salary Schedule
