QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be certified to teach in the state of Michigan and possess one or more of the following endorsements (*currently allowed by MDE due to staffing shortage flexibility rules):
- ZG - Elementary K-5 all subjects [K-8 All Subjects Self Contained Classroom]
- ZP - Upper Elementary, 3-6 grade, Education
- ZC - K-8 All Subjects
- ZE - General Elementary K-6
- ZO* - Lower Elementary Education [PK-3]
- BQ* - English Language Arts [5-9 only]
- EQ* - Mathematics [5-9 only]
- DQ* - Science [5-9 only]
CQ* - Social Studies [5-9 only]
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Willing and able to deliver effective classroom instruction
- Willing to collaborate with teaching partner/grade-level colleagues
- Have a strong desire to work with elementary school aged students and their parents
- Be willing to participate in a variety of extra-curricular and co-curricular activities including staff development and curriculum development
- Be willing to work as part of a building team for the improvement of instruction
- Be open to continuous change
- Be an excellent communicator with students, parents, and colleagues
- Demonstrate mental/physical ability and stamina for meeting the requirements of the position
- The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substance in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the District
- Maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance

SALARY: Per DEA Master Agreement
