Athletic Director/Dean of Students

Athletic Director/Dean of Students for New Lebanon School District. New Lebanon Schools is seeking applicants for a Dean of Students/ Athletic Director vacancy. 

Description - Perform staff and student administrative functions at Dixie High School and Dixie Middle School. Administer Dixie High School and Dixie Middle School Athletic Programs. 

Dean of Students-- Encourage student involvement in clubs, music, service and other school activities. Monitor student attendance and intervention processes. Administer student discipline as needed. Participate in staff evaluation processes. 

Athletic Director--Organize, administer, and evaluate all interscholastic athletic programs. Manage coaches, site supervisors and volunteers within the athletic program. Actively encourage parental involvement in the athletic program. Recognize each contact with the public as an opportunity to promote a positive impression of the school district. 

Qualifications - Valid State of Ohio Teaching License or Certificate; Ohio Administrative License or willingness to pursue administrative license preferred. A clear record as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation and/or the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Athletic Director and/or school coaching experience. Valid OTES Evaluator Certification and Required Coaching Certifications or the willingness to pursue those certifications.
