Cafeteria Manager

Celina City Schools is looking for a team-oriented individual to fill the role of Celina High School cafeteria. This full-time position will eventually oversee the cafeteria operations of the new 7-12 building that will serve over 1,000 students plus staff. 

Key Qualities and Skills:

• Previous food service experience required; school food service experience preferred
• Experience placing and managing vendor orders through suppliers such as Gordon Food Service (GFS)
• Strong understanding of FIFO procedures, inventory management, and product rotation
• Comprehensive knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Willingness to obtain ServSafe Level 2 Manager Certification
• Ability to safely operate commercial kitchen equipment including convection ovens, steamers, and warmers
• Strong leadership, organization, and time management skills
• Ability to accurately complete required paperwork and reports including production records, temperature logs, and bank deposits in a timely manner
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and positive teamwork
