Are you looking for a great company? Envirotrol is one of the leading HVAC sales and service companies in the southeastern United States, and we are looking for a Project/Install Technician to join our team.
As a Project/Install Technician, you will be responsible for
Installing/servicing a variety of types of equipment
Contributing to project on-time and on-budget performance.
Work independently and also be able to work as a team.
Maintaining tools, equipment and job supplies
Maintaining a high standard of mechanical installation practices
Following all safety requirements and use appropriate PPE
Following written project installation plans
Keeping appropriate records
Flexibility to work extended shifts (e.g. early mornings and late nights)
Flexibility to work out of town, days at a time.
Requirements
Must be able to communicate effectively with all customers, vendors and co-workers
Understanding of electrical schematics
Comprehension of refrigeration cycle
Basic knowledge of low voltage
Must be able to operate hand tools and powered tools safely
Must be proficient at soldering and brazing copper
Must be able to work on ladders, elevated platforms, boom lifts, and scaffolding
You will need a great attitude and an appetite for learning and wanting to grow in this business.
Education/Experience:
Must have at least five years of installation experience.
Must have high school diploma or GED
Must have a valid driver's license
Must have CFC Universal Refrigerant Certification
