Deputy Sheriff & Corrections Officer Positions
Job Description
The Wasatch County Deputy Sheriff Merit Commission announces recruitment with testing pending for the purpose of establishing a hiring roster as the Sheriff's Office regularly has openings for the positions of Deputy Sheriff and Corrections Officer.
The testing consists of a physical training exam, which is a pass/fail test based on POST Academy standards.
In addition, the test includes a written test, and a panel interview and Sheriff's Interview. The passing score on each test is 70%.
Applicants passing all tests are placed on a list of eligible applicants in the order of overall score, beginning with the highest.
