Duration: 12 to 16 months 
Salary: $24 - $36/hour, dependent uponpreviouswork-term experience 
Start Date: September 2026

We are looking for Business and Computer Science/Engineering students to join the ATCO Electric – Distribution Team. Work term starts in September 2026 for 12- or 16-month period in Edmonton. This is an office-based position located in Edmonton, Alberta.

 

Who you are: 

  • Mustbe enrolled in aco-op (or internship) program at a recognized Canadian university. 
  • Enrolled currently in a program related to: IT/Cybersecurity  
  • Must be both an organized, self-motivated individual who is able to work effectively under minimal supervision and someone who works effectively within a team environment on complex technical projects 
  • Possesses effective verbal and written communication skills 
  • Must have a willingness to learn new processes and skills 
  • The following attributes are an asset:
  • Experience within the Electric Utilities Industry

What you will do:  

• Reporting and analytics to support the Customer Connection Model

• Support implementing process improvements and PM Tool enhancements

• Lead documentation development and updates

• Other duties as required
