Your Role

• Shape the Future of Finance: As Finance Director, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust accounting and reporting processes that meet the highest standards. You will ensure Jet Aviation’s financial reporting is fully aligned with General Dynamics and Jet Aviation requirements (US GAAP based), and you will lead the global rollout of new accounting standards.
• Be a Trusted Advisor and Strategic Partner: You will provide expert guidance to support complex transactions and ensure compliance with US GAAP and company policies. Your insights will help senior management navigate regulatory changes and assess their impact on our financial statements.
• Drive Excellence in Reporting and Controls: You will update and maintain the group finance manual, coordinate global audits, and support the integration of acquired companies. Your focus on enhancing internal controls around financial reporting (ICFR) will ensure transparency, accuracy, and compliance at every level.
• Inspire and Develop Talent: You will mentor and coach finance professionals across the globe, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance. Collaboration with other departments, including internal audit and tax, will be key to driving cross-functional success.
• Represent Jet Aviation with Confidence: You will be the face of Jet Aviation finance in industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network, championing our values and standards on the global stage.

Who You Are

• Finance Expert with a Strategic Mindset: You bring a robust foundation in finance and accounting, and significant experience in both auditing and international business environments. You are fluent in English and adept at navigating the complexities of US GAAP, reporting, and consolidation processes.
• Analytical and Tech-Savvy Problem Solver: You are highly skilled in leveraging advanced reporting and consolidation tools such as SAP, HFM, and OneStream. Your analytical mindset allows you to interpret complex data, assess the impact of regulatory changes, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
