
Fuel Sales and Delivery Specialist
Job Description
AGRILAND FS is looking for a highly organized, customer-focused individual to deliver fuel and grow the territory through sales around the Washington/Burlington area. As a member of our AGRILAND FS team, this individual will receive in-house paid CDL training, be home every night, and take pride in knowing their customers always receive quality service in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate regularly with customers and prospects to market liquid fuel and lubricants
- Operate a straight truck (Tank Wagon) to safety and efficiently deliver fuel and other petroleum products
- Build relationships with prospective accounts
- Collect payments and administer credit
- Complete all required paperwork and responsible for tracking fuel inventory
- Collaborate with facility team to build unity and help accomplish company goals
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Class B CDL with Airbrake endorsements
- Ability to obtain hazmat and tanker endorsements
- Outstanding communication, persuasion, and teamwork skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to demonstrate independence and business development skills
- Over 21 years of age
- Pass a pre-employment drug test and physical
- Strong work ethic and stable employment
- Demonstrates the ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong mechanical aptitude with good math and problem solving skills
