Qualifications
 

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and business finance fundamentals
  • Ability to accurately analyze P&Ls and perform EBITDA calculations
  • Comfortable working in Excel; advanced modeling experience not required
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable asking clarifying questions
  • Willingness to learn M&A concepts through hands-on training
  • Computer or laptop with specs of at least core i5 or higher/7th gen or newer, or its AMD equivalent, 16GB RAM, functional camera, noise-canceling headset, and dual monitor
  • A stable internet connection with at least 25 Mbps upload and download
  • Back-up power/internet is required
 

Primary Tasks

Financial Analysis & Valuation Support

  • Review client profit & loss statements and normalize earnings
  • Calculate EBITDA, EBIT, net income, and identify appropriate add-backs
  • Assist with valuation assessments using internal frameworks and tools
  • Ensure financial analyses are accurate, clear, and client-ready

Deal Math & LOI Interpretation
  • Analyze Letters of Intent (LOIs) from a financial perspective
  • Model transaction outcomes, including:
  • Purchase price calculations
  • Earn-outs and contingent consideration
  • Timing and payout scenarios
  • Support senior advisors by translating complex deal language into clear financial outcome
Financial Due Diligence Support
  • Respond to buyer financial information requests prior to Quality of Earnings (QoE)
  • Organize and prepare financial materials for diligence review
  • Coordinate internally to ensure financial data is complete and consistent

Documentation & Internal Support
  • Assist with preparation of financial exhibits for CIMs and presentations
  • Maintain internal spreadsheets and valuation tools (training provided)
  • Collaborate with advisors, analysts, and interns to ensure smooth deal flow

  • Competitive pay is at 45,000 gross + 13th Month pay
