Job Description
Qualifications
- 4 years of experience in Occupational Safety & Health.
- Completed 40-hour Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) training.
- Additional 80 hours advanced/specialized OSH training relevant to the industry.
- Certified / Accredited OSH Practitioner recognized by DOLE.
Primary Task
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) programs, including HIRAC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment & Control) and JHA (Job Hazard Analysis)
- Provide expert advice and consultancy on OSH systems, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Lead and manage safety operations for high-risk and multi-site environments
- Conduct toolbox meetings, safety orientations, inspections, and compliance monitoring to ensure adherence to safety policies and legal standards
- Investigate incidents, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective and preventive actions
- Review, design, and enhance company-wide safety policies and large-scale safety programs
- Act as the primary safety authority during audits, compliance reviews, and major incident responses
- Collaborate with management and safety teams to drive a strong safety culture across the organization
- Mentor, supervise, and provide guidance to SO3s and other safety officers
