About the Role
We're hiring a Website Design Intern to support our marketing team across multiple brand websites. You'll build and update web pages, apply brand-specific design systems, and help with new content and campaigns. Reporting to the Senior Web Development Marketing Manager. In-office one day per week, remote the rest of the time. This is a Part-time position of 20 hrs per week, and is a hands-on role with real project ownership. You'll learn what it takes to maintain brand identity at scale across multiple sites.
What You'll Do
- Build and update pages in WordPress + Elementor Pro across multiple brand websites
- Apply brand style guides — visual systems, typography, and tone of voice — consistently and without mixing brands
- Populate page content from briefs and existing source material into production-ready builds
- Apply responsive/mobile overrides and light HTML/CSS styling fixes
- Embed and configure forms within page builds
- Prep launches: links, metadata, alt text, assets in place
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and the broader marketing team
Requirements
- Hands-on experience building pages with WordPress and a visual page builder (Webflow, Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, Squarespace, or similar)
- Solid HTML and CSS, including responsive fundamentals
- Comfort using browser developer tools to inspect and debug front-end issues
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work across multiple brand systems without crossing wires
- Strong written and verbal communication
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Elementor Pro specifically (the page builder we use day-to-day)
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Marketo, or similar embedded form/CRM tools
- Exposure to SEO principles, GA4, or GTM
- PHP basics or experience debugging WordPress issues
- Comfort with AI-assisted workflows (Claude, ChatGPT) for drafting content or accelerating routine tasks
About You
- Actively pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field
- 1–2 years of relevant design experience with a portfolio that shows page-build work
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator and Photoshop)
- Proactive, organized, and eager to learn
- Works well both independently and on a collaborative team
